Setting up DropDox on Debian Lenny 5.0.1

Download the source from DropBox website.
Unzip or bunzip the compressed file.
Go into the folder.
type the commands below:-

./configure
make

As user root enter the command below.
If you are part of users with sudo permissions use command sudo make install

make install

When you run into dependencies just type the debian package into google and u will get a listing of download sites.

After successfull installation run the command:-
dropbox start -i

it will download some stuff then open a setup wizard which will ask you where to set the dropbox folder.

Go to the dropbox folder you specified and drop there a txt file.

Go to the web https://www.dropbox.com/home#/

The txt file will already be there.
